Terms of Service

The general framework for using AS Hosting LLC services.

Legal policiesTerms of ServicePrivacy PolicyRefund PolicyAcceptable Use PolicyCookie Policy
Starter policy requiring legal review

This template must be reviewed and customized for the company’s actual services, jurisdiction, operational practices, and adopted policies before production launch.

1. Service description

These starter Terms of Service describe the general framework for services offered by AS Hosting LLC, including web hosting, VPS hosting, cloud infrastructure, domain services, and related support. The final service order and published plan details define the specific service purchased.

2. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for accurate account information, lawful use, secure credentials, application maintenance assigned to them, and timely responses needed to deliver or support a service.

  • Protect account credentials and administrative access.
  • Keep contact and billing information current.
  • Use services in compliance with applicable law and the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Maintain appropriate copies of important data unless a separate backup service is expressly included.

3. Account usage

Accounts may be used only by authorized people. Customers must notify support promptly if they suspect unauthorized access. Reselling, sublicensing, or transferring access is permitted only when the applicable service terms explicitly allow it.

4. Payments and renewals

Prices, billing cycles, taxes, due dates, and renewal terms must be displayed in the applicable order before payment. Services may renew according to the billing option selected unless cancelled under the final cancellation rules. Failed or overdue payments may result in service restriction after any required notice.

5. Suspension

Services may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, security threats, unlawful activity, material policy violations, harm to other users, or urgent infrastructure risks. The final policy should define notice and remediation procedures where appropriate.

6. Prohibited activities

Customers may not use services for conduct prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy, including spam, malware, phishing, fraud, network abuse, unauthorized scanning, credential theft, denial-of-service activity, botnet infrastructure, or illegal content.

7. Resource usage

Hosting resources are limited to the allocations and acceptable-use parameters of the purchased plan. A service may require an upgrade or custom configuration when sustained resource use affects platform stability or exceeds the agreed package.

8. Service availability

Service performance and availability depend on the configured infrastructure, providers, maintenance, software, network conditions, and events outside reasonable control. No uptime percentage or service-level commitment applies unless it is explicitly included in a signed service agreement.

9. Data and backups

Customers remain responsible for the legality, integrity, and necessary retention of their content and data. Backup scope, frequency, retention, and restoration are included only when expressly configured for a service. Customers should maintain independent copies of critical data.

10. Liability

The final limitation-of-liability language must be reviewed for the company’s jurisdiction and actual insurance and service commitments. It should address direct and indirect loss, service credits if any, third-party systems, and the maximum lawful limit of liability without excluding liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate services according to the applicable order, cancellation rules, and legal requirements. Customers should export needed data before termination. Data deletion timing and any post-termination access must be defined in the final operational policy.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. The final policy should explain how material changes will be communicated and when they take effect.
